HISTORY

The Stockton Firefighters Pipes & Drums was formed in the early part of 2005 after a core group of members realized the need for a traditional Pipes & Drums Band to serve the membership of the Stockton Fire Department.  Over time the band has grown to serve the needs of the Stockton Firefighters and the Department to which they belong.

The band has a roster of approximately 12 members and serves at all types of events including academy graduations, memorials, funerals, kick - off luncheons and other events that the membership of the band agrees upon.

In 2006 a set of bylaws was formed and agreed upon by the band membership, officers were voted in to office and the band began conducting business as a 501(c)4 tax exempt organization.

Today the band serves proudly as needed and is proud to uphold it's honor of

"Aontaithe and Duthracht"
